On your way to the Grand Canyon National Park, stop in to see the Planes of Fame at the Grand Canyon Valle Airport. Conveniently located at the intersection of Highways 180 and 64, The Air Museum Planes of Fame, Grand Canyon is just 25 miles south of the National Park. You can't get to the south rim of the Grand Canyon without passing the museum.
A division of The Air Museum Planes of Fame which is headquartered at Chino, California, this museum is part of an organization that brought the first permanent air museum to the west coast of the United States and pioneered the "flying museum" concept. Many of the aircraft in the museum's vast collection, including more than half of those at The Air Museum Planes of Fame, Grand Canyon, are flyable.
