Amaranth is a herb, considered a "weed" by many farmers and highly resistant to herbicides such as glyphosate.

But it turns out that this "yuyo" is recommended by herbalism to prevent and help heal conditions such as osteoporosis, diabetes mellitus, obesity, high blood pressure, constipation and diverticulosis, chronic kidney failure, liver failure, hepatic encephalopathy, food suitable for celiacs , diet for people with autism.
