Mobile film festival “ACT NOW on climate change” supports the European Week for Waste Reduction

15 of the 50 films presented in the Official Selection compete to support waste reduction

From 16 to 24 November, the European Week for Waste Reduction is an important time to reduce and manage our waste, consume better and stop food waste.

The Mobile Film Festival supports this initiative through 15 films from 11 countries, including Burma, Burkina Faso, France, Cambodia, Colombia, Ivory Coast, Iran, Nigeria, Pakistan, Ukraine and the United Kingdom. These films are part of the official selection of the “ACT NOW on change change” edition, in association with the United Nations (UNFCCC) and YouTube.

The filmmakers have chosen to address this crucial issue to share their concerns and revolt over the problem of waste. We invite you in the same way to take advantage of these films to share them and illustrate as best as possible the urgency of this issue.

From November 14 to 30, the online film festival will take place, presenting 50 films in competition on all social platforms and particularly on YouTube, to be seen, commented on and shared in order to create greater awareness about the climate problems and reaching as many people as possible.

Throughout the year, films will be presented online, at screenings in cultural centers, festivals, cinemas, as well as by our 90 NGO partners, particularly on the topic of waste, such as Bye Bye Plastic Bags, Zero Waste, ISWA
