Several sizes of square brass tube were telescoped and mounted on a plastic tube to provide support for the weight of the Thunderjet models.

The tubing brass tubing mounted on the plastic tube was trapped between the B-29 fuselage halves.

The fuselage is assembled and shows the brass tubing and plastic tubing. The plastic tube also serves as the mounting point for the clear plastic tube that supports the model.
