BOOK REVIEW

The book details the story of the "Thunderbirds" from the beginning with F-84G Thunderjets until 1980 with T-38 Talons. There are many wonderful pictures of the aircraft on the ground, on the ground with crewmembers, and formations in the air. There are 14 pages with 30 pictures (b/w) of F-84G Thunderjets, and 12 pages with 23 pictures (b/w) of F-84F Thunderstreaks. Also included are four side-view drawings and one page with a short history of each type used, including the F-84G, F-84F, F-100C, F-105B, F-100D, F-4E, and T-38A. There are also pictures of the various support aircraft and all pilots between 1953 and 1978.
