Documentary about the organic community farming system Huellas Verdes.
Huellas Verdes is an organization that has been operating since January 2011. It is made up of young professionals in the area of agriculture and urban planning and is dedicated to developing community work experiences around agricultural production and generating alternative trade models for local foods .
This production model is known as CSA or "Community Supported Agriculture" (Community Supported Agriculture), born in the United States in the 80s, where there is a strong collaboration between the farmer and consumers. The latter assume risks and benefits of local agricultural activity, accepting losses due to frost and / or drought, consumption according to the season and, of course, enjoying periods of abundance, among other things. In return, members can meet and advise the producer, share and learn about agriculture, and receive traditional products and a variety of fresh products that is difficult to find in the traditional market.
