A promise based on 3 fundamental characteristics, energy efficiency, materials and systems that are sustainable with the environment and that follow the Cradle2Cradle principles.

Each repurposed container is fully furnished and lined with ECOBOARD, some panels that are made by pressing recycled agricultural waste. Furniture and accessories have been carefully selected for their low environmental impact, from linseed oil-based paints to chairs made from recycled refrigerators. This home works 100% off the commercial electrical grid and is powered by solar and wind energy as it can produce around 5,000 kWh per year, the excess of which is stored in a 20 kWh battery system.


Rainwater is collected and filtered to produce our own drinking water, according to the Dutch standards for drinking water. All gray and sewage water is filtered. The heat pump is reversible, hot - cold, highly efficient, which also contributes to an exceptional high quality insulation.


Although designed primarily to be a home, container structures can easily be adapted for a different use such as offices, hotel rooms, shops, or even emergency housing. It has about 30 useful square meters, fully furnished where one or two people can live comfortably and is available at a price of € 75,000 (US $ 82,500). The Dutch company has just finished building its first prototype and is now testing the design.
