An intuitive doctor had a unique perspective on why people are not cured. He used to think that everyone wanted to be healed. And he concluded that:
"Healing is very unappealing"
Impediments to healing include give up to live in the past, stop being a victim, and thefear of change. Directing thought and energy into the past diverts life force from cells and organs that need that energy to function and heal.
The healing it requires living in the present, recovering energy from past trauma and injury. Say what the only reason to feed and keep the past alive is because of the bitterness of what happened.
Refusing to forgive an event or person from the past causes energy leaks from the body. Forgiveness heals these leaks. Forgiveness has nothing to do with not holding others responsible for the hurts they caused. It has more to do with:
"Free ourselves from the perception of victim."
When we can see a painful act as part of the life process, as a message or a challenge rather than a personal betrayal, vital energy flows back into the energy circuits of the physical body.
People are not cured because they have not freed from the illusion of being a victim. Too often, people gain power from their wounds because they have found that they elicit the support of others.
Wounds become a means of manipulating and controlling others. Generally, recovery requires making changes in lifestyle, environment, and relationships.
Change can be scary. It's easy to stay in a waiting beat, claiming that you don't know what to do, but it's rarely true. When we are in a holding pattern, because we know exactly what to do, but we are terrified to act on it…
The change is alarming, and waiting gives a feeling of security, when the only way to acquire that feeling of security is enter the whirlwind of changes and exit the other way, feel alive again.
Healing requires action.
Eating properly, exercising daily, taking the right medicine through natural herbs, generates healthy changes in the physique.
What supports the one supports the other, because physical and energetic energy is inextricably linked. Even the process of dying, which we all face, can become an act of healing old wounds that are released by resolving unfinished business with loved ones.
In short: Change comes from learning to love every situation at all times, learning to flow, being love in action.
