We bring you alternatives to make a homemade enamel remover.
By combining vinegar and lemon juice we can have our own homemade and natural polish remover that will not damage your nails even if they are brittle.
Vinegar is rich in acetic acid, a substance similar to acetone. The combination with lemon juice makes a product that easily dissolves nail polish.
To make the homemade nail polish remover, put a little white wine vinegar in a bowl. Add the same amount of lemon juice and stir until both products are perfectly mixed.
How to use
Dip a cotton ball in the mixture and apply on the nail pressing. Hold 10 to 20 seconds for the polish to soften and then drag the cotton to remove it from the nail. Removing polish with this homemade mix may take a little longer than with a commercial polish remover, especially if you are trying to remove multiple layers of polish. If you let your nails soak in hot water (as hot as you can) for 15 minutes it will help the polish to soften and you can remove it more easily.
