The Seedbomb Mission involves using a bomber plane loaded with Seed Capsules. Basically the project consists of scattering seeds on arid lands where natural vegetation has disappeared due to human activity such as deforestation, which means desertification of the land. Each capsule contains an artificial soil grown with seeds that are launched from the air in selected regions.
The capsule containing the planted compost is made of biodegradable plastic. It first serves as a small greenhouse where the seed grows protected. At the same time, the capsule begins to degrade without contaminating the environment until it disappears completely, leaving the growth of the crop to follow its natural course.
How to make a homemade seedbomb
The large-scale seedbomb concept like the one discussed above is very difficult to implement. But this is not to say that the seed pump concept cannot be put into practice on a smaller scale. You can find a multitude of manuals online where they will explain in a simple way how to make your own homemade seed bombs.
Bees are in serious danger on our planet (there is even talk of danger of extinction), we cannot forget that they are a fundamental part of our life. Seed bombs have become a small-scale weapon to save bees, with wild flower seed bombs being especially useful, as many bees prefer them. Many groups and associations around the world have already got to work. A small gesture from many people can make a big difference.
