The event is preparatory to the Peoples' Summit on Climate Change within the framework of the Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention for Climate Change (COP20).
The objective was to enrich the political proposal for ecological production systems in the face of climate change through exchange, socialization and strategic alliances with key political actors who are committed to small family farming in the face of climate change.
Among its objectives was to create a space for discussion and reflection on agroecological production systems and how they are contributing to the mitigation of climate change. Likewise, know the ecological certification regulations that SENASA is promoting and learn about the implementation of the participatory certification project through the Participatory Guarantee System (SGP) in the Peruvian Amazon.
The contest will generate inputs for the Peoples' Summit against Climate Change that will take place from December 8 to 11, 2014 in the Exhibition Park.
